MY task at work

One of my multi task at work is to organise events/activies for a group of staff in my same zone. today is the retreat day and we went to a half day training (team building) and in the afternoon, we visited the Marina Bay Sands - The Artscience Musuem

Its fairly nice to bring a group and hope that they would enjoy every bit of the activies planned but in the face of it, I faces lots of stress and limited capacity as a lot of back end work need to be done...

having said that. the event toke place succesfully (i feel as if a stone has been lifted) and i went on to wrap up the rest of the admin task (raise payment and do the events paper work).

............. then....i went home feeling very tired (but glad the event went on successfully - my boss did not comment much which is a good news) and i start to received message on my hp asking me why i never opt for some other form of crediet card payment for the MBS... this person who wrote to me, did not check done any of her 'homework' before she ask me this question (I on the other hand has done thousand of details work before bringing everyone there).

I.... replied her "the tix calculaton is not what you stated..its should be $xx * 20% + $3 and not $xx less 20%. it makes a different. why i chose group payment? because group payment is nett at $XX which is 10 cents cheaper than paying by credit card (that you mentions). 

yes, silly me, to save that 10cents/ticket, i been punching my calculator way before i commit this event. I did my home work (taking it very seriously) and...somehow i feel sad as this person...did not even check with the tix office and come and 'query' ???

sigh..anway, horoscope said that...i should just take things easy this year and...REN!. ok. ren...
