Life - light as dust
Today i read in a special post forum that one mummy lost a baby due to birth complications. Makes me even more firm in making the best for siang as heaven has given him (a tiny warrior at birth) a fair chance to fight and become what he may be able to be.
A tiny chance is always better than none. Grab it when it come. Appreciate it and value it.
Last night my hubby was not able to send us home (as he got company dinner to attend - an important function). Hence I, Siang and our domestic helper toke a cab home.
That cabbie makes me fume!... he purposely mumble very softly about the route he intend to take (when we board the cab). siang was making noise and i did not hear clearly. then he start the vehicle. halfway through, i realised he is not taking the road that my hubby always take (from my mama house to where we live)!!! so i query and he proclaimed that he did mention when we board the cab
As i was with siang and the domestic helper i did not want to create a scene. Hence i start to try to recognise the landmarks outside (he was taking a route that i was not at all familiar - i am a direction idiot, everyone who knows me know that) and i start to pausse and ask the cabbie which road is he using... he give the same flat answer "Just now when you board the cab, i already said!!", "anyway, singapore how you go, you will still end up at the destination"..... (*&*^W*&^&W^&W%&^%*^#@&#(**#
I kept quiet and just continue to figure out which route he is taking (but ... no use because i am really unable to).
My domestic helper seem to detect something is not right in my tone to the cabbie. hence she toke over siang and let him sit with her.
Well....we got home. total cab fee was $20.40!. i don't remember it cost that much (there was another time we toke a cab home from my mama house)
anyway, most important is we reach home safe and sound.
Thinking back. really appreciate my hubby for driving to and fro my mama house (5 days a week). thats a tough task...

Study, upgrading
I start to notice that recently a lot of my friends are going back to school. Andy was studying some short courses recently too.
D&E's mummy is also reading books. Bernard mum is attending courses (recent one is on teaching kids on phonics)
Makes me ponder. I should start on some simple reading.
I am reading this book (bought by Andy sometime back) known as Inspiration from Confucius - Choice Quotations from the Analects - (english version).
Guide to Reading - Inspiration from Confucius contains best selections of 160 excerpts, based on these 10 concepts :-
1. Benevolence/Humanity
2. Justice
3. Propriety/Rites
4. Knowing
5. Trust
6. Loyalty
7. Filial Piety
8. Correctness, Propriety, Legality or Rectifying
9. Study
10. Action and Practice or Conduct
Why i chose this book. Well, hoping to have some reflections of my actions, words and belief in this world. Also, hope to be able to be inspiration for life, work, family, myself (my soul). living in reality and gaining insight.

Twins in my family
Today my dearest brother announced on his blog on the pregnancy of my sil. they are expecting a twins (edd sept 09).
First time i heard abt the pregnancy was during CNY. my cutest sil (she is one lovely lady really) has since step into her 1st trimester :)i feel so happy & proud of them.
Twins. Identical somemore.
Its on this that my Mama shared that there is twins history in my family. My father sisters was twins (identical). then my Sil shared that her father also has twins brother (identical?)! wow...
I always belive children is a gift by the heaven/ancestor. That's what my mama always say
Little brother, learn to be a good papa along the path. its a enjoyment and could be a very different kind of life experiment thru the wife experiencing morning sickness and food craving but i am sure you can DO IT. You have us (all the 4 sisters) to support you. and yeah... must start ai de jiao yu liao. start when the twins are still in the womb. its a mircale of life that we must belive :)
